Chathouse 3D Radio is a great solution to share your music with your friends in your locations.
It follows the same link including principe as the Picturewalls. There are 2 major advantages: the radio uses a very smaller bandwidth for data transfer and very few graphic card resources. Unlike YouTube videos, music is always synchronized with all the players in the location.
Find your favorite radio feed and copy the link into the radio input field in the Room Editor.
You can even host your own stream and play DJ to your own party!
Note: Custom radio feeds require third party programs.

Radiostream links | .m3u filesSome radiohosts give you the option to download an .m3u file to open it on your PC (e.g. via Winamp, VLC Player, Windows Media Player….)
To receive the streamlink just follow these steps:
- Find your favorite radiostream and download the .m3u file (when possible)
- Open the file with Notepad
- Copy the link out
- Switch into the Chathouse 3D Roomeditor and insert (press CTRL+V after clicking into the input field) it into the Radiostream input field in the Radiosettings

On most radio sites you will find the streamlink in their descriptions or in the downloadable .m3u file.
If you can’t find it, you can try the following method.
- Open the radio website.
- Find the webplayer – where the play/stop controls are (it may not be necessary to click on “play”)
- Right click on the player and select “Inspect Element” (That’s the term in Firefox, it may be different in other browsers)
- Type into the search field your term and start to search.
- Now you need to read carefully to find the right URL (Consider using right click >and select “Edit as HTML” for a better search).
In our example “https://hr-youfm-live.sslcast.addradio.de/hr/youfm/live/mp3/128/stream.mp3” is the streamlink. - Insert the link into the Chathouse 3D Radio by clicking into the input field and press CTRL+V
Note: This method does not work all the time.
You can search for terms like: mp3, ogg, m3u, stream, :8080, 128, 192,…
In our example we had sucess with “.mp3”.
Another method is to google terms like “you-fm winamp”/ “you-fm stream link”/ “you-fm vlc”
Many hosts have a list of their direct streams links on their page.
